On Arrival at Bandaranayake international airport lobby our Chauffeur guide and Airport staff will meet and assist clients to Vehicle and proceed to Chillaw.

Dinner and Overnight at Anantaya Resort & Spa – Chillaw

After Breakfast leave to Willpattu enroute comfort stop at Puttalam for refreshments.

Puttalam is a largest town at Northwestern province, and it’s covered with Lagoon and sea area,

Afterwards travel proceed to Wilpathu – Approx 01 Hour Drive.

1230hrs Check-in to hotel for lunch.

PM – Around 14:30 Clients will visit to Wilpattu National Park ½ day safari.

There are approximately 30 species of mammals in the Wilpattu National Park which include the Sri Lankan Elephant, Sri Lankan Leopard, Lankan Sloth Bear, Sri, Spotted Deer, Buffalo, Sambar and Mongoose.

Wilpattu is home for many species of flora, and they are Palu (Manilkara hexandra), Satin (Chloroxylon swietenia), Milla (Vitex altissima), Weera (Drypetes sepiaria), Ebony (Diospyros ebenum) and Wewarna (Alseodaphne semecarpifolia).

After the safari, return to hotel around 19:00 Hrs.

 

Dinner & Overnight at Mahoora camp – Wilpathu.

After breakfast checking out hotel around 09:30 AM and proceeding to Anuradhapura for excursion,

Anuradhapura is 01st capital of Srilanka and guide will process the brief tour for following sits Sacred Bo Tree – the oldest historically authenticated tree in the world.

The Brazen Palace and Ruwanweliseya Dagoba,Thuparama Dagoba – the coller bone of the Buddha is enshrined within the Dagoba. Isurumuniya Rock Temple – The rock carvings of the “Lovers”Samadhi Statue of the Buddha & Royal Pleasure Gardens Moonstone carvings and twin Ponds, Abhayagiri and Jetawanaramaya Dagobas.

PM Proceed to Sigiriya for overnight stay.

 

Dinner and overnight at Aliya Resort and Spa – Sigiriya.

After breakfast visit to the Sigiriya rock excursion.

This UNESCO World Heritage site, a spectacular Rock Fortress, is one of Sri Lanka’s major attractions. The most impressive facets of the unique complex are the Water Gardens, the Frescoes of beautiful maidens, the Mirror Wall with ancient graffiti, the Lion platform and the Summit of 1.6 hectares, which was completely covered by buildings during the period of Sigiriya’s glory.

After the excursion we will provide refreshments and comfort toilet stops and proceed to

Dambulla Cave Temple is a living Buddhist site that is focused on a series of five cave shrines. Inhabited by forest-dwelling Buddhist monks since the 3rd century BCE, these natural caves have been transformed continuously throughout the historical period into one of the largest and most outstanding Buddhist complexes in the Southern and Southeastern Asian region, showcasing innovative approaches to interior layout and decoration.

In keeping with a longstanding tradition associated with living Buddhist ritual practices and continuous royal patronage, the cave shrines underwent several renovation and refurbishing programmes before assuming their present interior forms in the 18th century.

After Breakfast proceeding to Ampara Via Polonnaruwa including site visits,

Polonnaruwa – In the 12th century AD, the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa was one of the great urban centers in South Asia.

Polonnaruwa was the island’s second ancient capital.

Many of the existing ruins owe their construction to Parakramabahu the Great, the last in a sequence of warrior-kings, who developed the city on a lavish scale. He is also credited with the massive artificial lake that lies to the west of the city, The Sea of Parakrama remains of the vat adage or relic house, a beautifully decorated circular structure with an uncanny resemblance to Stonehenge and the supremely graceful Buddha statues at Gal Vihara prevails the pinnacle of Sri Lankan rock carving.

Polonnaruwa’s ancient splendor cannot fail to inspire, as even 1980s pop group Duran were obviously impressed to feature Polonnaruwa in their music video, Save a Prayer.

After breakfast clients will travel to Ella via Badulla.

Client must leave the hotel around 07.30 Am and proceed to Badulla railway station by vehicle approximately 03 Hours’ drive.

From Badulla we have included the train ride to Ella which starts at 10:30 Am approximately 45 minutes ride [Reserved seats will be provided].

Clients can enjoy the highland village bringing in panoramic views of the Central Highlands.

P.M. Visit the Nine Arches Bridge located in Demodara, between Ella and hike to Little Adam’s peak and enjoy optional the thrill of zip lining at Flying Ravana Mega Zipline.

After breakfast proceeding to Yala via visiting Udawalawe elephant transit home – Approx 04 hours’ drive on rote comfort stop for refreshments.

 

The Elephant Transit was established in 1995 by the Sri Lanka Department of Wildlife Conservation. Its primary objective is to rehabilitate orphaned elephant calves for ultimate release back into the wild.

This complex is a halfway house for orphaned elephants. After rehabilitation, the elephants are released back into the wild, many into the Uda Walawe National Park.

Sri Lanka’s most known national park is popular for Elephant, Leopard, Bear, Crocodile and Wild Boar.

More than three times larger than Undawelewe at 97,800 hectares, this is the second largest of Sri Lanka’s national parks.

Its open undulating terrain made it famous for elephants for many years, but recently the park has also received much fame through publicity by National Geographic and the Discovery TV channels, which focused on a leopard research/conservation and identifications project.

Claims have subsequently been made that Yala National Park has the world’s highest concentration of leopards per square kilometer.

 

Early morning around 05:30 AM leaving for Morning Safari [ Hotel will provide Tea & Coffee at Lobby] with Guide.

Returning to the hotel around 09:00 AM and after refreshing clients can enjoy Breakfast at Hotel.
