Upon arrival in Jakarta, you will be expected to drive you to your hotel in the old town of Jakarta. The Mercure Jakarta Batavia Hotel is conveniently located in the central business district of Glodok in the beautiful Old Town of Jakarta.

After your early breakfast, you will be driven to the train station and enjoy the magnificent view during your Executive Class ride, along traditional villages, rice terraces, plantations, jungles and volcanoes towards Yogyakarta. Upon arrival, you will be met and driven to your hotel.

After a relaxed breakfast, you will visit the famous Sultan Palace of Yogyakarta, Sultan Royal Palace & Water Castle “Taman Sari”. Yogyakarta is still ruled by the only remaining sultanate in the entire island archipelago of Indonesia, cosmopolitan and liberal.

Afterwards you will visit one of the largest and most beautiful Hindu temples in Indonesia and worldwide, as well as a UNESCO World Heritage Site Prambanan from the 9th century.

Today you will get up early to drive to Magelang, where you will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of the Borobudur Temple.

Upon arrival, your guide will take you to the UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest Buddhist temple complexes in the world, the Borobudur.

After climbing the nine floors, you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view.

Explore the mystical stories about the life and work of Buddha in the form of stone reliefs over a total area of over five kilometers.

After your breakfast and check-out today, your journey continues to Jepara.

On your way north, your tour will take you along the beautiful tea and tobacco plantations of the Sindoro – Sumbing Valley, one of Indonesia’s last Hindu refuges.

The volcanically active Dieng Plateau, home to the oldest Hindu temple complexes in Indonesia, stretches at an altitude of around 2,000 meters. In the language of the locals, it is also called Dataran Tinggi Dieng, “seat of a spiritual, otherworldly being”.  In addition to bubbling springs at Sikidang Crater, unique lake landscapes such as Telaga Warna (Colored Lake) and Telaga Pengilon (Mirror Lake) and sacred children of the locals, you are sure to experience some of the most spectacular views that Central Java has to offer.

Today you will check out of your resort in the paradise of Java and take the fast ferry back to the mainland. Once there, your private driver will be waiting for you and will drive you to the train station for your onward journey by train back to Jakarta. Upon arrival at the train station in Jakarta, your personal chauffeur will meet you and drive you to your hotel near the airport.
