There you will board your private Klotok boat, including your own captain, cooking crew and guide and you will start your boat safari through the kingdom of orangutans and proboscis monkeys. Your lunch will be served on board the Klotok boat.

After about 2 hours you will reach the Rimba Eco Lodge.

Enjoy your free afternoon in your eco lodge in the jungle.

With a bit of luck you can watch passing Irrawady dolphins in the river in front of the lodge.

Accommodation: Rimba Eco Lodge, Emerald Room, fullboard included

Woken up by the unique sounds of the jungle and a relaxed breakfast, you will drive to the reforestation site in Jerumbun.

There you will learn everything about the conservation efforts and preservation of the rainforest and learn a lot about the medicinal properties of the various plants of the rainforest.

Afterward, continue to Camp Leaky, a reserve for older orangutans that are released into their natural habitat.

At Camp Leakey, accompanied by your experienced guide and park ranger, you will have the opportunity to make your way through the jungle in search of wild orangutans, gibbons, proboscis monkeys and macaques. You’ll also discover an incredible variety of colorful birds, reptiles, and insects.

In the dense jungle, you also have the chance to discover the rare flower of the world’s largest plant – the giant rafflesia (Rafflesia arnoldii).

Your lunch will be served on board. Afterwards you will visit the feeding station, where the rehabilitated orangutans are additionally fed before they can feed independently in the jungle.

Then, cruise slowly along the river to observe the wildlife along the river.

Later in the quiet afternoon, when the Klotok slowly moves upstream, you may be lucky enough to spot proboscis monkeys and orangutans along the riverbank from the deck, and often crocodiles as well.

Enjoy dinner on board before embarking on a jungle tour with your guide to watch nocturnal animals such as goat lemurs and giant tarantulas on their natural hunt for prey under the cover of night.

With a bit of luck, you can also discover the fluorescent mushrooms native to Borneo, Bioluminescent Mushrooms.

Accommodation: Rimba Eco Lodge, Emerald Rooms, incl. fullboard

Awakened by the unique sounds of the jungle, you will have breakfast and then drive on your private Klotok Boat to Pondok Tangguy to offer you the opportunity to take unique photos at the feeding time of the orangutans.

Afterwards, you will hike through the rainforest accompanied by a ranger in search of wild orangutans, proboscis monkeys, hornbills and other wildlife.

After lunch aboard your Klotok boat, continue to Nata Lengkuas, the upcoming new feeding station in Tanjung Putting National Park.

This site is not yet officially open, so you are very lucky to be one of the first visitors in the world to visit this new protected area.

Enjoy your dinner on board before heading back to your lodge for overnight.

Accommodation: Rimba Eco Lodge, Emerald Rooms, incl. Breakfast

Today your tour starts at Tanjung Harapan Camp and you go with your park ranger in search of wildlife in the dense jungle.

Lunch will then be served on board your Klotok boat.

Your next stop is the Orangutan Rehabilitation Center in Tanjung Harapan. After lunch, you will experience the orangutan feeding time at 15.00.

Later in the quiet afternoon, as the Klotok slowly moves upstream, you can spot proboscis monkeys and orangutans along the riverbank, and often crocodiles, from the deck.

The captain then chooses a place to moor for the night.

Today you will spend the night on the boat, surrounded by Nipah palm trees and enjoy the unique soundscape of the jungle at night.

The area is famous for its evening light spectacle. With a little luck, millions of fireflies will light up the night for you today.
