Upon arrival at Denpasar International Airport, you will be met by your private guide and driven to your villa in Munduk.

On site, your guide will discuss the travel planning for the next few days with you and will of course be happy to answer any further questions you may have about your trip and your holiday destination.

After breakfast, you will start a hike with your private guide into the remote and picturesque highlands of Bali, where village life is still not affected by mass tourism. On your way, you will explore highland ecology, for both dry and wet agriculture.

On the route you can see how the green environment of all plantations grows from the plains to the mountains, such as: vegetables, coffee, oranges, cloves, vanilla beans, cocoa and much more….

On your way, you will take a break to relax at the beautiful village temple while enjoying the view of the old town and the north coast of Bali.

Your hike continues through the jungle to visit one of the largest and most amazing waterfalls on the island, which has so far hardly been visited by locals or tourists.

Then we continue with the most beautiful view of the intricate rice fields, terraces and Subak, one of the most sophisticated and oldest irrigation systems in Bali, which has been used by farmers for thousands of years.

To round off your day’s tour, visit Munduk Organic Coffee Plantation, where you’ll get an insight into traditional farming methods and processing, right down to tasting some of the world’s most exclusive coffees.

Today your journey continues north-west to Pemuteran.

Enjoy your drive past traditional villages and plantations with tropical fruit trees such as rambutan, durian, mango or manggis until you reach the Buddhist temple Brahama Vihara Arama, which you will explore at your leisure.

Then, head to a hot spring with healing minerals where you can relax before continuing to Bali Barat National Park.

The trekking tour begins with a visit to the temple complex of Jayaprana & Layon Sari, which is an eternal love story of the couple.

Continue into the heart of West Bali National Park, along the west coast of the Prapat Agung peninsula.

Prapat Agung is largely occupied by savannah and is home to many species of Bali Barat species, making this peninsula the main zone of park protection.

It is home to several species of vertebrates such as Kerahitam (Black Monkey / Presbytiscristata), Keraabu (Macaque Monkey), Menjangan (Barking Deer / Cervustimoresis), Kancil (Trangulusjavanicus), Babihutan (Wild Boar), Kucinghutan (Wild Cat), Reptilebiawak (Giant Lizard / Varanus Salvador) and Ayam-Hutanhijau (Green Jungle Owl / Gallusvarius), Eagle and Owl.

Then, head to Tegal Bunder to visit the Bali Starling (Leucopsarrothschildi) Sanctuary and breeding program.

After breakfast we go to Deer Island, Menjangan Island in the marine nature reserve of Bali Barat National Park.

The island is surrounded by miles of coral reefs, where an incredible variety of tropical fish and corals in all colors of the rainbow can be explored.

The special nature conservation makes it possible above all to make regular visits to the endangered beautiful hawksbill turtles.

Another highlight is provided by the island’s namesakes.

Visitors will regularly witness the deer having fun on the beach and taking a dip in the shallow waves in the sea.

Enjoy the beautiful beaches and underwater worlds for a few more hours before heading to the tropical rainforest of Ubud to your pool villa with a fantastic view of the tropical rainforest.

On your way into the jungle, you will take a fantastic tour to some of the most beautiful places Bali has to offer.

Among other things, you will visit the Pura Beji Sangsit. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of rice, Dewi Sri, and is especially revered by the farmers in the area. Then we go to Kintamani.

In Kintamani you can enjoy the magnificent view of the still active Mount Batur and the beautiful blue Lake Batur.

Before you finally reach your resort in Ubud, visit the world-famous rice terraces and UNESCO natural heritage of Tegallalang.

Early in the morning you will be expected for a Balinese cooking class.

First, you will visit the local market to buy the fresh ingredients. On the surrounding fields and plantations of the village of Laplapan you will also go on an exploration tour to collect fresh ingredients.

You will learn the traditional craft of making coconut oil, which is essential for Balinese cuisine. Everything is traditionally handmade.

Under professional guidance, you will then learn the magic of Indonesian/Balinese cuisine. Learn all about the most exotic ingredients, spices and preparation of culinary delights.

Otherwise, you will have the whole day to immerse yourself in the daily life of the local village community, learn how to press coconut oil, cultivate the fields, harvest, etc.

After your tour, head back to the hotel, where you’ll have time to rest before embarking on a guided e-bike tour of Ubud’s rice paddies in the afternoon.
