Today you will arrive at the international airport in New Delhi.

After customs, immigration formalities and baggage claim have been completed, you will be met by our representative. You will then be taken to the hotel where you can recover from your long flight.

If you arrive early in the morning and do not want to relax by the pool in the hotel or explore the surrounding area on your own, we will be happy to organize a first day trip for you.

Visit the Laxminarayan Temple, the first large Hindu temple built in Delhi in 1939. The Laxminarayan Temple, also known as the Birla Mandir, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Laxmi (the goddess of prosperity) and Narayana (Vishnu, the preserver). The side temples are dedicated to Shiva, Krishna and Buddha. The temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi on the condition that the temple would grant access to people of all races. Otherwise, the rest of the day is at your leisure in your magical 5* resort.

Today your guide will be waiting for you early in the lobby to drive you to the airport in Delhi for your onward flight to the beautiful Andaman Islands.

Flight: Vistara (UK-747 Delhi-Kolkata-Portblair (06:15 hrs/11:20 hrs) – 15 kg checked baggage per person and 07 kg hand baggage per person

You will be met at Port Blair airport and transferred to a jetty to board the ferry to Havelock Island (14:00 hrs/15:30 hrs).

On arrival at Havelock, you will be transferred to the hotel.

Havelock Island

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Andaman archipelago is Havelock Island, which you can reach by ferry from Port Blair. The island offers a cornucopia of recreational opportunities, including snorkeling and diving among the coral reefs, with their kaleidoscopic array of marine life; fishing expeditions in the open sea, hiking on lush jungle trails or just soaking up the sun on one of the palm-fringed beaches. Don’t miss a visit to the beautiful Radnaghar Beach, which is surrounded by a mystical stretch of forest. Perhaps because of its isolation from the mainland, Havelock is much more relaxed than many more traditional Indian destinations, with fewer cultural constraints and expectations.

The combination of deserted beaches and tropical rainforest makes Havelock Island so unique in the world. The “secret beach” jungle hike combines both. Our ranger is an expert in the rainforest. After a relaxing one-hour stroll through the pristine rainforest, you will hop onto a perfect arch of white sand that is yours alone for the rest of the day. Enjoy your day snorkeling, bird watching, picnicking and chilling at your secret spot.

Your excursion program for today (4 – 6 hours):

Dive a little deeper into the local life of the locals with a visit to the local Bengali community. While a delicious authentic Bengali meal is prepared around the campfire, listen to the stories of the settlers who came from Bangladesh and found a new home in the Andaman Islands. After a stroll through the lush plantations, make yourself comfortable in the hammock, sip a hand-picked coconut or a chilled, locally brewed beer. Chef Naz will guide you through this tour and will be your interpreter with your host family. The lunch, cooked on a wood fire and served on a banana leaf (included), is perhaps Havelock’s most humble and best meal.

Your excursion program for today (approx. 3 hours):

Today, discover a different side of the island with an Amazon paddle boat through Havelock’s narrow mangrove channels. Bird watching, snorkeling in the species-rich reefs or lonely dream beaches await you, depending on your comfort, tides and weather. After the tour, paddle home into the setting sun.

Today it’s time to say goodbye to the tropical paradise.

After checking out, you will be taken to the jetty to board your ferry to Port Blair. The ferry to Port Blair departs at 8:30/10:15 a.m.

You will then be taken to the airport in Port Blair for your onward flight to Delhi.

Flight: Vistara Air (UK-847 Portblair-Chennai-Delhi 2:10 p.m./8:10 p.m.) – 15 kg checked luggage per person and 07 kg hand luggage per person

Arrival in Delhi and transfer to the hotel.
