Info: The transfer should ideally take place on Wednesdays or Sundays (otherwise there will be no additional charge of 100 euros per transfer)

Upon arrival you will be met by the resort representative and driven to Alor Divers Beach Resort.

Alor Divers is an intimate resort on a quiet beach on the remote island of Pantar.

In a convivial atmosphere, this oasis accommodates a maximum of 16 guests and offers a high quality, sustainable and personalized island experience.

Divers, snorkelers and nature lovers are equally welcome!

In the middle of the sea

Located between Flores and the Savu Sea, the Pantar Strait is, in our opinion, one of the most outstanding and healthy seascapes in all of Indonesia and the world.

Alor offers an unusually wide variety of dive sites and diving environments, all within a short distance of the resort.

Aside from the lush growth and stunning color palette of corals, sponges and anemones, diving in Alor is also known for its wide variety of reef fish and rich macrofauna.

There are over 40 dive sites and almost as many snorkeling spots with an incredible variety of marine life – rare and interesting creatures such as rhinophias, blue-ringed octopuses and harlequin shrimps, schooling fish, hammerheads and thresher sharks, migrating blue whales and nesting turtles in season.

Striking rock formations and endless walls of pristine coral combine with cloudless skies for magnificent and immersive underwater adventures.

CORAL REEFS

The reefs in Alor are among Indonesia’s best-preserved marine systems and are known for their lush colors and a wide variety of reef fish and rich macrofauna. Frogfish, scorpionfish, pygmy seahorses, eels, sea snakes and a wide range of nudibranchs are just to name a few.

Visibility ranges from 15m near the rainy season to an incredible 40m during the dry season from June to October. In addition, Alor is a place for remarkable surprises as you pass by pelagic animals – even whales! We offer no guarantees, but hammerhead sharks, reef sharks, thresher sharks and mola mola (sunfish) are seen year-round.

The muddy seabed provides a perfect camouflage environment for unusual creatures such as rhinophias, devilfish, sea moths, snake eels, zebra crabs, Coleman shrimp, nudibranchs, harlequin needles, velvet and hardy pipefish, various seahorses and many more. Several “muck” dive sites are located in Kalabahi Bay and a few more on Pura and Pantar Island.

HOUSE REEF

You have unlimited opportunities to explore 900 meters of stunning house reef! For over 15 years, the resort has strived to protect the reef and maintain it in its incredible condition.

It is an impressive experience for divers and snorkelers alike: an area of white sand and a patch of seaweed in the shallow water, followed by a huge coral garden bordered by a cliff that alternates a steep slope and a vertical wall. On the reef you will find an impressive fish world, a kaleidoscope of corals, an array of interesting creatures and the occasional pelagic surprise!

Rocks with mangrove fields at either end are a rare opportunity to observe this unique ecosystem and its activities.

Since a dive boat is an entry and exit point for divers, your experience is stress-free.

There are several separate dives that can be done along the length of the reef, all offering immense beauty and exceptional diversity.

Our snorkeling customers accompany the diving trips for divers free of charge.

Enjoy your stay in a tropical paradise with a magical underwater world that, for many visitors, even outshines the better-known underwater mecca of Raja Ampat.

Through traditional music and dances, these festivals come alive, with each performance telling stories and celebrating the history and identity of the people of Alor Island.
