Today you will be driven to the port in Gilimanuk.

The ferry then takes you to Java in about an hour and continues towards Meru Betiri National Park, taking a short break at the most beautiful viewpoints on the way.

At around 7:00 p.m., the Park Ranger awaits you at Sukamade Turtle Beach, a 3-kilometer sandy beach on the Indian Ocean where 5 different turtle species come ashore all year round to lay their eggs.

Each individual turtle lays over a hundred eggs in its enclosure.

Experience has shown that most turtles come to lay their eggs around 19:30 and return to the sea around 24:00.

In the morning, the park ranger will take you back to the beach to give you the opportunity to escort some of the baby turtles from the local nursery from her hand into the open sea to freedom.

Afterwards we have a hearty breakfast before we drive about 3 hours to Banyuwangi.

On the way you have the opportunity to relax and swim on the beautiful beaches of Green Bay and Pantai Merah.

In the afternoon you will reach your luxurious tent resort with a view of the tropical rainforest.

You have the option of getting up around 04:00 a.m. and leaving for Paltuding at around 05:30 a.m. Once there, the approximately 2-hour ascent on foot to the crater of the Ijen Plateau begins.

Recommendation! Depart as early as 01:00 AM for the opportunity to experience the natural wonder of the Blue Fire. After the ascent, it goes about 700 meters steeply down into the crater of Mt. Ijen.

Once there, you will have the opportunity to experience something unique in the world, witnessing the blue fire of the sulphur flows in the absolute darkness of the night (depending on the water level of the crater lake).

The subsequent strenuous ascent to the crater rim is rewarded.

Once at the summit, you will experience a fantastic, magical view over the greenish blue lake of the Ijen Crater at sunrise, the most poisonous lake in the world.

On the way, they will meet the numerous workers who mine the sulphur and transport it into the valley in their baskets weighing up to 100 kilograms.

Once in the valley, they do not miss the opportunity to stop by the weighing station to experience how hard the brave miners have to toil.

Before heading back to your hotel in Banyuwangi, refuel with a cup of fresh coffee, fruits, and local snacks in a typical Javanese waroeng at the entrance to the national park.

Afterwards, relax at your resort.

After today’s breakfast and check-out, you will be driven to the port of Ketapang, from where you will take the ferry back to the island of the gods in 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the waves.

On your way to the world-famous rice terraces of Ubud, visit the Aling Aling Waterfall in the north of Bali, a picturesque waterfall complex consisting of 7 secret waterfalls in Sambangan Village.

The most famous of these waterfalls is Aling – Aling, as it is located in the middle, easily accessible and in the middle trekking trail area.

It is located in the calm river in Sambangan village with pure nature surrounding it.

Today, after breakfast, your guide will be waiting for you for a private tour of some of the cultural highlights.

You will first drive through the Highlands to Tampak Siring to visit the sacred spring water temple Tirta Empul with its numerous swimming pools, which have been used for spiritual healing ceremonies for about a thousand years.

On the way to the next highlight, enjoy a cup of the world-famous Balinese coffee, freshly harvested and roasted where it grew up.

To crown your day, you will visit the Pura Besakih, the most important Hindu sanctuary in Indonesia located on the island of Bali and the “mother temple” of all Balinese temples.

Along the world-famous rice terraces, you will then return to your resort, where you can relax in the pool with a fantastic view of the world-famous rice terraces.

After breakfast, prepare for a fantastic tour of some of Bali’s most mystical and beautiful temple complexes.

First, you will climb the “Stairs to Heaven”, one of the ancient temples in the east of Bali – the Lempuyang Temple, called Pura Lempuyang Luhur in the local language.

This is one of Bali’s oldest and most famous temples.

The temple is located at an altitude of 1175 m above sea level, on the summit of Mount Lempuyang.

Afterwards, you will visit Tirta Gangga, the picturesque and ancient bathing pool of the king of the area.

Continue to Taman Ujung Karangasem or also known as Taman Soekasada Ujung (Edge Soekasada Park), a dreamlike water palace with a floating palace covering an area of more than 10 hectares in the village of Tumbu, Karangasem Regency, about 5 km southeast of Amlapura.

After your tour, head to Virgin Beach in Karangasem for sunbathing and refreshing in the Indian Ocean.

Early in the morning you will be expected for a private Balinese cooking class.

First, you will visit the local market to buy the fresh ingredients.
